Convert before you send
Sending a Word file has two problems: if the recipient’s fonts differ the layout shifts, and anyone who opens it can change the contents. PDF solves both, which is why CVs, proposals, contracts and formal applications are asked for in that format.
This tool converts your `.docx` to PDF inside your browser. The document is never uploaded to a conversion server, never parked in a temporary folder, never stored. For contracts and HR paperwork — anything whose contents are nobody else’s business — that is the difference that matters.
Preview before downloading
When the conversion finishes, the first page is shown on screen. You can confirm the layout came out as expected without downloading and opening the file first.
The converter carries across text, heading levels, lists and basic formatting. Very complex layouts — nested tables, text boxes, embedded custom fonts — may not survive exactly, so check the output when your document is one of those.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do older .doc files work?
No, the tool reads `.docx` only. If you have an old `.doc`, open it in Word or a similar program and use “Save as .docx” first.
Are tables and images preserved?
Text, headings, lists and basic formatting carry over. Very complex tables, text boxes and embedded custom fonts may not be reproduced exactly — which is why checking the preview before sending is a good habit.
Is my document uploaded to your server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser; the file never leaves your device and is never stored anywhere.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Very long documents may take a few seconds, because all the work happens on your own device.
Can I edit the PDF again later?
You can convert it back with the PDF to Word tool. Bear in mind that some formatting is lost on every round trip, so it is not a lossless cycle.
